1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, such as your name, email address, and username. We also collect content you create, including collections, picks, photos, and notes. If you subscribe to the Creator plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your payment and subscription status but never store your card number, CVV, or full payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services; send you technical notices and support messages; respond to your comments and questions; and send you marketing communications (with your consent).
3. Analytics Data
We collect analytics data about how your profile is viewed and interacted with, including page views, link taps, and traffic sources. This data is provided to you through your analytics dashboard and is used to improve the service.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with service providers who assist in our operations, subject to confidentiality agreements.
4a. Service Providers (Subprocessors)
We use trusted third parties to run Curated: Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Cloudinary (image storage and delivery), and Vercel (application hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices. Your Supabase project region is chosen when you set up the project; contact us if you need details about where your data is stored. Stripe (payment processing — handles all billing and card data under PCI DSS compliance. Curated never stores your card details. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy). Resend (transactional email delivery — used to send authentication codes and account notifications).
4b. Data Retention
We retain account and content data while your account is active. Analytics events (profile views, collection taps, pick taps) are retained to power your dashboard. You may delete your account at any time from settings, which removes your profile and associated content subject to our backup and legal retention obligations.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
7. Your Rights
